I have been blessed to be a part of Liberty Christian Preschool for 18 years. I began teaching preschool in 2000, the same year my oldest son began attending preschool! I have worked with children since my teens and found my niche when I began teaching preschool. After teaching all ages groups in the preschool for 11 years and tending to the duties of assistant director, I became the Director in 2011. It has been an honor to see the preschool thrive and grow, and be a part of hundreds of children’s lives over the past 18 years!!
My husband and I have been married for 19 years and together we have 5 children. We have 1 high schooler, and 4 adult children as well as our third grandson! I keep busy attending football and basketball games! I am beyond blessed with the opportunity to be a part of so many children’s lives and am honored to share the love of Jesus with them all!
I’m Claudia, Office Manager at Liberty Christian Preschool. I’m so proud to be part of the wonderful team here at Liberty. My family moved to Huntington Beach in July of 2015, and I joined the staff of LCP in August of the same year. I majored in Communications and Software programming in Mexico where I’m from. In the past seven years, I’ve been working around children and I love it! My son will begin Kindergarten at Liberty Christian School this Fall, where I also teach Spanish to 9th and 10th graders. My family and I attend CrossPoint Church. I enjoy my free time reading, playing with my son, and exploring new places with my family on the weekends!
Hello, my name is Robyn. I am so fortunate to be part of the LCP team for a little over a year now. I am the two and a half to the three-year-old teacher, which I am loving every minute of! I married my high school sweetheart, John. On our free time, we love to go go to a baseball game, hit the batting cages, or go for a round of bowling. We’ve been married for a little over two years now. We are proud fur-parents to Scooter, our poodle, and Milo, our cat. I am a Huntington Beach native. I did all my school in the Ocean View School District. I graduated from Cal State Long Beach with my Bachelors in Liberal Studies with a focus in Human and Child Development. Working with kids has always been a passion of mine. I am so thankful to be an additional supporter to my students’ lives to enhance and brighten their futures. I believe a great foundation and structure will blossom your child into kindhearted, and educated students for the years to come.

I have been so lucky to be a part of the LCP family for just over six years now. Each year is an another amazing chance to watch the children thrive and develop their personalities. It is such a joy to work with the children and families who trust us to guide their children’s development and early education. I believe that having fun is a big part of learning and I try my best to incorporate fun games and activities into my curriculum wherever possible. My husband and I have two beautiful girls together who teach us new things every day. We are pretty big Angels Baseball fans and love to travel and see them in new cities. I am so thankful to be working here and am blessed to be able to share God’s love with these kids and help them to let their lights shine!

Hi my name is Regina Keith. I am fast approaching my fourth year of teaching here at Liberty Christian Preschool! I love to go camping with my family, I enjoy relaxing at home and reading a good book, I’m also a big fan of Disneyland and enjoy going to the parks after work with my mom. I am so absolutely blessed to have been given the opportunity to work with such an amazing group of people! I feel very fortunate to be able to teach here in an environment where God is the foundation! It is so wonderful to be able to watch the children thrive and grow into amazing little beings! I am also very glad that we get to instill the knowledge and passion of christ into the children at a young age! Some of the things i will be focusing on in my 3 year old class are color and shape recognition, being able to recognize the letters in their name, as well some number recognition, I will also try to foster their fine motor skills such as tracing, cutting, and gluing. Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it – Proverbs 22:6

Hello, my name is Miss Joanna! I enjoy working with kids and I’m always looking for new ideas for my class. Being very passionate about my career, I am a proud graduate from CSULB with a bachelor’s in Human Development and a minor in Child Development. I am a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children and have a California Early Childhood Master Teacher permit. I have been teaching preschoolers since 2004 and have loved every minute of it. My style is a combination of play and art while focusing on literacy, language, math, science, and more. I try to follow Romans 12:7, believing that God has gifted us with special gifts, so I take my calling as a teacher very seriously. My favorite thing about preschoolers is their love and curiosity. As a teacher I try to live by following quote: “Children are great imitators, so give them something great to imitate.” As a mother and a teacher this is very important to me. On a personal note, I live and attend church locally with my husband, daughter, and dog. I enjoy swing dancing and vacationing with my family.

Praise The Lord! Every day is a glorious day! Welcome to my T-K class! I am Miss Josie Nguyen, Early Childhood Educator at LCP and member of CrossPoint Church, HB since 1991. I became a US citizen since Jan. 1983 and resident of HB since ’77. Arlington, Va. was my Plymouth Rock. I graduated from Orange Coast College, Costa Mesa, Ca. major in Early Childhood Education. I also served as Faculty at the College in the ECE Center as Teacher, Newborn – 5 yrs. Count it all joy for me! I’m driven by my love for young children, couple with my long-term commitment when I decided to make ECE my career. My goals and purpose are to prepare T-Ks ready for Kindergarten; to help each child builds a solid foundation of basic classroom ethics which they can take with them beyond Kindergarten. Beside a curriculum tailored and built according to their developmental stage, the children in my class will learn teamwork, compassion for others, self-help skills, etc… Add to that, most important and dear to my heart, my passion is to share Christ’s love with each child & his/her loved ones. Together they will learn of God’s love and discover how unique, wonderful, special they all are to Him. I have two daughters, 34 & 32. My grandson is 11 and his sister is 6. I’m active in the Asian-Pacific Community where I teach Vietnamese 101 to K-5th & perform in Cultural Performances for Charity Events throughout Southern Ca. I compose poetry and enjoy singing ballads in French, Vietnamese and English. Currently, I’m serving as Leader of our Small Group Bible Study with our Preschool’s Parents here at CrossPoint Church (crosspointhb.org). Please join us on Sunday mornings from 9am-10:20am as we open God’s word together. Bring your family_the kids have their own Sunday school (inside preschool). Sunday Services are, 9a-10:20a & 10:30-11:30a. & 5:30p-6:30p. It’ll be a fun-filled, fantastic school year ahead!

My name is Jennifer Dey, and it is a blessing to be a part of Liberty Christian Preschool. I have been working with children for 24 years. I have worked with all ages, including infants, toddlers, 2’s, 3’s, pre -k, school-age, as well as autistic children. When I am asked “why do you like working with young children? My answer is simple, “I like to plant seeds.” As a teenager, I came to realize that one small child can impact many. I know this because I was that child. I was the little girl at the age of5 who began going to church with a neighbor, thencome home and share
Jesus with my family. By the time I was 11 years old more than 20 of my family members were attending my church. My motto…follow Jesus, show Gods love, and make good choices. Proverbs 22:6 tells us, “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” On a personal note, I am a mom of four children, three girls and one boy, with one grandson. My family loves the beach, camping, bike riding, and we are always up for a family game night as well as going to church. My journey here at Liberty Christian is just beginning. I am excited to be a part of this team, and be a part of your child’s development physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
