 Tara BraunMiss Tara

I have been blessed to be a part of Liberty Christian Preschool for 16 years. I began teaching preschool in 2000, the same year my oldest son began attending preschool! I have worked with children since my teens and found my niche when I began teaching preschool. After teaching all ages groups in the preschool for 11 years and tending to the duties of assistant director, I became the Director in 2011. It has been an honor to see the preschool thrive and grow, and be a part of hundreds of children’s lives over the past 16 years!!

My husband and I have been married for 19 years and together we have 5 children. We have 2 high schoolers and 3 adult children as well as our first grandson! I keep busy attending football and basketball games! I am beyond blessed with the opportunity to be a part of so many children’s lives and am honored to share the love of Jesus with them all!

Miss ClaudiaClaudia Bishop

I’m Claudia, Office Manager at Liberty Christian Preschool. I’m so proud to be part of the wonderful team here at Liberty.  My family moved from San Clemente to Huntington Beach in July of 2015, and I joined the staff of LCP in August of the same year. I majored in Communications and Software programming in Mexico where I’m from, but spent many years working as a graphic designer, and teaching English. In the past six years I’ve been working around children and I love it!  My son attends the 3 1/2 yr old group and it’s such a blessing to be around him! I enjoy my free time swimming, reading, playing with my son, and exploring new places with my family on the weekends!

Miss RobynRobyn Delgado

Hello, my name is Robyn. I am so fortunate to be part of the LCP team for a little over a year now. I am the two and half to three year old teacher, which I am loving every minute of! I married my high school sweetheart, John. On our free time we love to go go to a baseball game, hit the batting cages, or go for a round of bowling. We’ve been married for a little over two years now. We are proud fur-parents to Scooter, our poodle, and Milo, our cat. I am a Huntington Beach native. I did all my school in the Ocean View School District. I graduated from Cal State Long Beach with my Bachelors in Liberal studies with a focus in Human and Child Development. Working with kids has always been a passion of mine. I am so thankful to be an additional supporter to my students’ lives to enhance and brighten their futures. I believe a great foundation and structure will blossom your child into kindhearted, and educated students for the years to come.

Miss LeiAnLeiAn Pickett

I’m Miss LeiAn. I’ve been teaching here at LCP for a little over four years now. I have been so blessed to work here and it has been amazing to see how quickly the kids learn and grow. I’m married to a wonderful man and we have a happy little girl together. We love to explore at the aquarium and cheer on the Angels at a baseball game. I believe that having fun and playing are a BIG part of learning and I try to incorporate that into my curriculum as much as possible. I love sharing God’s love with these kids and helping them to let their lights shine!

Preschool is a prime time for these little ones to learn so much through lots of hands on activities! I want each of my students to feel loved, therefore, it is important to me to make sure they are! I strive to make my classroom welcoming for the students, as well as the parents. My goal is to teach them color, shape, number, and letter recognition, as well as manners, sharing, cleaning, and listening!

Miss ReginaRegina Keith

Hi my name is Regina Keith. I am fast approaching my fourth year of teaching here at Liberty Christian Preschool! I love to go camping with my family, I enjoy relaxing at home and reading a good book, I’m also a big fan of Disneyland and enjoy going to the parks after work with my mom. I am so absolutely blessed to have been given the opportunity to work with such an amazing group of people! I feel very fortunate to be able to teach here in an environment where God is the foundation! It is so wonderful to be able to watch the children thrive and grow into amazing little beings! I am also very glad that we get to instill the knowledge and passion of christ into the children at a young age! Some of the things i will be focusing on in my 3 year old class are color and shape recognition, being able to recognize the letters in their name, as well some number recognition, I will also try to foster their fine motor skills such as tracing, cutting, and gluing. Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it – Proverbs 22:6

Miss CassandraCassandra Alves

Hi, my name is Cassandra Alves and I am delighted to be a part of the amazing staff here at Liberty Christian Preschool! I formally taught the 3-year-old class for the past three years and this will be my first year teaching Pre-K. In 2014 I graduated from California State University, Fullerton with my Bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development. Currently, I am enrolled in my first semester of a Master’s program at California State University, Dominguez Hills majoring in Counseling. I have been married to my best friend, Scott, for a little over a year; however, we have been together for over twelve years in total. We live a very active life and love the outdoors! We enjoy hiking, paddle boarding, camping and sporting events just to list a few. While we currently have no human children we spoil our almost two-year-old dog, Douglas, like he’s our child. I am so eager to teach these young children and foster their uniqueness and creativity. The objectives for my class include: number, letter, shape and color recognition; improvement of fine motor skills; the ability to trace and freely write their names, letters and numbers; turn taking; manners; and problem solving skills. It is my goal to provide your children with a safe and fun environment that will foster self-awareness, creativity, and independence. I am excited to be apart of your child’s journey as they learn and grow cognitively, physically, socially and emotionally.

Miss JoannaJoanna McFadden

Hello, my name is Miss Joanna! I enjoy working with kids and I’m always looking for new ideas for my class. Being very passionate about my career, I am a proud graduate from CSULB with a bachelor’s in Human Development and a minor in Child Development. I am a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children and have a California Early Childhood Master Teacher permit. I have been teaching preschoolers since 2004 and have loved every minute of it. My style is a combination of play and art while focusing on literacy, language, math, science, and more. I try to follow Romans 12:7, believing that God has gifted us with special gifts, so I take my calling as a teacher very seriously. My favorite thing about preschoolers is their love and curiosity. As a teacher I try to live by following quote: “Children are great imitators, so give them something great to imitate.” As a mother and a teacher this is very important to me. On a personal note, I live and attend church locally with my husband, daughter, and dog. I enjoy swing dancing and vacationing with my family.
